Homework: None!!  Yay for term two! Attached is a picture of our inference activity from today.  Students did a great job of gleaning information from a picture and then used the information on our study of Ötzi the Iceman to generate  further ideas in preparation for our upcoming Historical Fiction Short Story.

Today we began our investigation of Ötzi the Iceman.  Students created a web based on a textbook reading and then began watching the following documentary, creating another notes web.  This allows for students to see the importance of checking more than one source before beginning a project. Hello All, Sorry my posting has been sporadic... I've had a cold. Homework: 1) Character Sketches are now overdue, though seven students have not yet handed theirs in. 2) Science Experiments are now overdue, though eight students have not yet handed theirs in. 3) Students should be practicing their band instruments (Fallbrook March and O Canada) for our upcoming Remembrance Day Service, Friday, November 10th at 10:45am. 4) Social Studies Remembrance Day mini-lectures will happen tomorrow (Friday, Nov. 3) 5) Story Plot lines for Touching Spirit Bear and due Monday, November 6th.
