A New Year!
Hello Families and Students,
I wish to welcome you to our Grade Seven Blog. I will begin to update the blog frequently throughout the year. Homework will be posted and information regarding trips and class information will also be found on this site.
I wish to thank you already for a fabulous start up. Our students have found great success hiking and applying the skills in perseverance that were learned to their academic studies. I hope to have a few more such experiences this year for those who were unable to attend, as the learning was invaluable.
For your information, coming up next week will be the Halloween Fun Fair on Wednesday, October 31st, hosted by Divisions 1 and 2. Students may wish to dress up, but note that they will be particularly busy and thus costumes would want to be both durable and easy to move about in.
Also coming up Friday, November 9th will be our Remembrance Day Ceremony. Students in Division 1 will be putting on the ceremony. Please let me know in advance if you plan to be away, as each student will be assigned a role integral to the running of the event.
Finally, Grade 7 Hoodie orders have been collected and will be finalized next week. The morning of Monday, October 29th will be the absolute last day that I can take in an order. Pauline will be taking the orders into Sechelt and hoodies should be available by the beginning of December.
Kind regards,
Jen MacInnes.😁
