Homework:

There will be a pretest tomorrow on decimals, specifically when working with money and percents (in the form of both sale prices and tax).

Please remember to bring your band instruments and your permission forms to school tomorrow for Band Blast.  Please also remember to wear white and black tomorrow morning.

Please keep up to date with your lit circle assignments.  We will have a lit circle discussion tomorrow afternoon (after our performance).

 Please remember to bring in your reading logs this week!  New ones were handed out today.  Just a reminder that students are expected to read 30 minutes each night in improve their fluency in both reading and writing.  Plus, it is just a good workout for the mind. Please remember that your Ancient Civilization projects are due this Wednesday.  You will have time on Wednesday for finishing touches, but the bulk needs to be complete before Wednesday so you are not left flustered! Good Morning Division 1! Today I will be unavailable to connect with you.  Sadly, I am attending my grandfather’s funeral, who passed away in April.  We had to wait until now to have a small family gathering.  We are relieved to be able to celebrate his life, together in person, even if still physically distanced.  This pandemic has impacted us all, good, bad, and sad.  And, I have a great deal of hope for our future and know that this will pass.  Chin up!  Have a fabulous weekend. Good Morning Division 1! If you are coming to school this next week, please make sure you have pre-arranged your attendance with the office.  Remember to dress for the weather.  We will be spending as much time outside as possible.  Bring snacks and a lunch that is "picnic style".  You will pack out what you pack in.  In other words, you will take your garbage/recycling home with you and will need your own utensils if necessary.  Bring a water bottle, full.   Please make sure you also bring your school supplies back with you.  We will also be doing some writing, math, and crafts.  I look forward to seeing your faces in person!
