Please remember that tonight the concert begins at 7:00pm sharp!! Grade 7s need their instruments tonight. Please, after the show, please come down to the classroom and take all of the belongings you'll need for over the break.  You'll need your your instruments to practice for band!! Finally, please make sure that you are at the ferry tomorrow morning at 6:00am.  Don't forget that you need a pick up at the ferry at 2:50pm. One more sleep!!

Please remember that costumes and band instruments (for grade 7s) are needed for tomorrow's concerts! Please remember that our concert times are 1:00pm and 7:00pm.  Come on out and see the show!! Please remember that our trip into Vancouver is Friday!! Final Hot Seat presentations will take place tomorrow.

Please remember that tomorrow is our Secret Santa gift exchange! Make sure that you are ready with your gift by 10:35am (after recess). Please make sure that if you signed up for Wednesday Hot Seat that you are ready to go!!  Any questions are fair game, so try to have a back story prepared that you have made up, but still makes sense to the character.  If you did not sign up for Wednesday because you weren't here, no stress!  You will present on Thursday morning! Please go over the information forms sent home today about the Vancouver trip with your parents. Please remember that Thursday 9:00am is our dress rehearsal for the play.  The shows are at 1:00pm and 7:00pm. Grade 7s, you need your instruments here both Wednesday and Thursday for the performances. Three more school days!!

Please bring your instruments tomorrow! Please remember that tomorrow is the last day to sign up for the Vancouver trip this coming Friday!  Please bring in your $30.00. Please remember that costumes must be brought in tomorrow!!  We will have a short costume parade. Finally, make sure your lines are memorized!!

Please make sure that you come to school with a complete costume on Tuesday, as we will have a costume parade to ensure there aren't any missing links! Please make sure that your lines are now memorized. Grade 7s: Please have your instruments at school Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week as we will be playing our introductions to the play at each subsequent rehearsal. Thanks students and parents for your time and effort!  This show has really been student driven and led, from set, to backstage, to costumes, to acting, and to dancing.  They have created something they can be proud of!  Thanks for your endless support!!

Today students answered in their reflection journals the following questions: Have you been meeting your goals? How do you know? What might you need to do differently or keep the same? We then worked through another Math Olympics: Golf Edition Students then investigated a topic (a mechanism of evolution) from the following website.  Even though the concepts are difficult to understand, students were asked to force themselves to try to make some sense of the mechanism they were assigned. https://evolution.berkeley.edu/evolibrary/article/evo_14 Please be prepared to run lines tomorrow and have most lines memorized! A notice/permission form for the upcoming trip to Vancouver has been sent home today.
