Please remember to bring in your reading logs on Monday!!  You can do it! Students had an in-depth discussion today on the impacts of drugs on the body and brain.  We supplemented this discussion with research and with a documentary.  Below is the link to the documentary: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwFRsfATaag Please remember that Jessie Wollen is here on Monday for another session.  Yay! Students need to make sure that they have a sound and meaningful plan for Monday's Student Directed Learning.  Please ensure you have everything you need to make the session worthwhile! Have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks to those students who handed in their weekly reading logs!  Please remember to read 30 minutes each afternoon at home and then have your parents sign off on this.  You then bring your filled in form back to school each Monday!   Please remember that tomorrow we will have our session in the gym for student directed learning.  We will spend time tomorrow planning our next week together.  Student directed learning offers a number of skills to students, so long as they are prepared for their sessions.  Students should check in with themselves and know what they need to make these sessions enjoyable and meaningful. Thanks to your dedication this week to completing the FSAs!

Please remember to keep up your reading each night for 30 minutes.  Record this on your reading log and then hand it in this Monday.   If you do not have a day plan in to me regarding Monday, you need to have this in before the start of the day Monday morning, or you will spend your time doing an exercise from the textbook.  Some of you were either away or maybe think you have a plan in, but unfortunately some do not have enough detail and cannot be counted as a plan.  You will need to check in with me if you are unsure and I will write those who need a plan on the board so that you can get busy and finish it before the first bell. Today students completed their own experiment around the following inquiry questions and supplies shown in class: 1) How is electricity generated? 2) What is the relationship between electricity and magnetism?
