Homework: 1) Character Sketch is now overdue.  Please make sure this is handed in on Monday. 2) Any preparations you need for Tuesday's Halloween Fun Fair should be brought in ASAP. 3) Practice Fallbrook March!

Homework: 1) Prepare for math test tomorrow.  Students will have a pre-test from which to practice. 2) Character Sketch is due tomorrow (Friday, Oct. 27, 2017) 3) Please be able to play Fallbrook March from beginning up to the 2nd ending by Tuesday's band class.  This means you might wish to practice a few bars each night to really get them solidified.

Thanks to all the parent volunteers yesterday and today!  What a great way to spend an afternoon. Another thanks to Lisa, who is putting together the information for Grade 7 hoodies.  I will touch base with kids this week to show them the styles and have them try on some sizes.  Please see below for a picture of the colours. Homework: The homework is the same as what was assigned on Tuesday.  Students spent much of the day catching up on past assignments. Please do not forget to practice your band instrument, especially O Canada and the Fallbrook March, both of which we will be playing for the upcoming Remembrance Day ceremony.

Today we worked on a writing piece for chapter six of Touching Spirit Bear.  This was to be handed in in the class today.  If this was not complete, students were asked to hand it in anyways.  Below is a shared write that we collectively made in class today.  Students are expected to be reading at least 20 minutes per night.  Assigned readings are meant to keep students up to date so that they can participate in the classroom activities. Today's Homework: 1) work on creating a bird beak to test out on Wednesday 2) math quiz on adding integers 3) read ch.7 of Touching Spirit Bear and note one connection 4) bring your band instruments!
