Good Morning Division 1!
Answer to the riddle from yesterday:
There was a grandfather, a father, and a son.
Shape of the Day – Thank Goodness It’s Friday!
8:30 - 8:50am – Record your sleep patterns.
8:50 – 9:00am – Stretch break. Listen to one or two of your favourite songs and move around.
9:00 – 10:15am – Math – Check the Math Page and if interested, click on the other sites I’ve linked for more choice. If you’ve got a crib board or a chess board and a willing opponent, have a game. I’ve added a link for how to play crib. Or, if you’ve got another game that focuses on numbers or patterns, play that! Or, see if you have the nerve to figure out this riddle:
A businessman, for personal reasons of his own, needs to gain access to a notorious but elusive thieves guild. After snooping around the city for a few days, he finally gets a tip about the location of the guild entrance down a dark alleyway.
After observing the entrance for about an hour, the businessman notices that the thieves seem to have some sort of passcode system using numbers. When someone approaches the door, they are given a number, and then they reply with a number.
The first person steps up, and the guard tells them "twelve," to which they respond "six." The person is admitted. A second person approaches the door, and the guard tells them "six," to which they reply "three." The second person is also admitted.
Convinced that he has cracked the code, the businessman approaches the door to the thieves guild, and the guard tells him "ten," to which he confidently replies "five." The guard immediately slams the door in the businessman's face, and a deadbolt slots into place.
What should the businessman have said?

Remember to breathe for three minutes. Focus only on your breathing. If a thought comes into your head, let it be with no judgment, and then go back to your breathing. With each breath in and out, remind yourself that it is good to breathe. When your three minutes are up, enjoy the space you created in your mind.
You got this!
